Obituary for Roslyn P. Guice-Williams

Roslyn Guice-Williams was born June 8, 1952 to Elizabeth and Columbus Guice, Sr. She was born the 4th of 5 siblings and the baby of the sisters. Roslyn had a quiet but powerful soul.
After graduating from Kettering High School in 1970, she went to work at Sears Department Store. There she met her future husband, Edward Clyde Williams, Jr. They became one and married on September 1, 1973. From their union two sons were born, Deron and Edward (Demond).
Roslyn worked for the State of Michigan as a Social Worker for 30 years. She had a passion for helping people. She was always open to listening without judgement and a willingness to help in any way she could. In memory of Roslyn, let’s keep her legacy alive by being kinder to one another.
Roslyn leaves to cherish her memories with her husband Ed, sons Deron and Edward (Whitley); stepdaughters, Kristin and Candance; sisters, Deborah and Brenda; grandchildren, Cortez, Myha, Airea, A’Zariyah and Isaiah; sisters in-law, brothers in-law as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Pauline and a brother, Columbus Guice, Jr.
