Condolence: My deepest sympathies to Jay's family and friends. Jay was my buddy and co-worker at Standard Federal Bank. I will remember his kindness and positive outlook and his dapper golf outfits. This world is going to be a little less brighter without him in it.

Condolence: My heart is breaking. I searched for Jay a few months back, and would have loved to reach out again. We worked midnight shift together at Standard Federal Bank in Troy. He taught me all about Sunday dinners and gave me my first taste of collard greens. He brought me all his movies on Clint Eastwood so I could watch them while he rested his eyes in the office. I'd make sure the VCR (yes, it was that long ago) was returned and he was back in our room before the bosses came in for the morning. I returned to visit after I had moved on and he told me to "lay off the ice cream" Most people would have been upset, but with his loving way I knew he was only looking out for me. He was the only person that got straight to my heart and encouraged me to lose the weight. We talked for hours and his compassionate demeanor is what I will always remember. Man I loved those Sunday dinners left overs and watching all the old Westerns. I still think of him so often.
