Condolence: Was really proud to be named after my Uncle! Many phone calls talking about little things which meant a lot. Sometime talking about how he loved to hunt and fish, going after the big swordfish. He sent me two of his hunting shotguns he used which I look at from time to time just to think about how he used them. A wonderful uncle this man was. Miss him, which I had been around him in my early years of life. Would have been a blast enjoying nature with him I'm sure.

Jesus said ,did and promised something that gives us comfort and hope.
In the Bible at John 11:11-14 Jesus liken death to sleep.
This comfort us in two ways: 1) we are assured by those words that our loved ones are not suffering or in pain. 2) If a person is just sleeping he will wake up!
Notice what Jesus does next at John 11:43-44, this is amazing!
Jesus promised us something similar at John 5:28,29 what a beautiful hope we have!

Condolence: Daddy! I love and miss you so much. I know that you are no longer in pain and you have been waiting for the keys to your heavenly mansion for a while. You were the epitome of what a good God-fearing man, husband, servant of God, and father is supposed to be. I am who I am today because of the sacrifices that you and grandma made for us, so selflessly might I add. I miss our conversations, our prayers, and our laughs togerther. I am saddened by the reality of how eternal this void will be without you and grandma because I wish my children would have gotten the opportunity to know you like I do. I won't take up too much more time, but I can write all day about you and the love that we share. Rest eternally peaceful and give grandma a kiss for me. Until we meet again...I love you!
