Condolences

Condolence From: Julie Colman Ortega
Condolence: Howard and Perry were inseparable when they came to our house on Littlefield. Howard had the most contagious laugh and always brought smiles to our faces . We had so much fun as teenagers hanging out together. I still remember him looking at my mom’s freshly baked granola and shaking his head saying ,” you white people eat the weirdest things - Birdseed!”
My sister and I were reminiscing about our Detroit days, and after an internet search, I’m saddened to learn of Howard’s passing . Sending our prayers and love to his family . Julie and Sally Colman

Condolence: Dear Dollesa and Family,

Writing this letter is one of the hardest tasks as I struggle to jot down my thoughts in expressing my emotions in the passing of your husband Brother Howard Anderson.

In this celebration of life, we are reminded of the book of John, which states "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me, has eternal life; he does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life." While we are assured that these words offered comfort to Brother Anderson, we pray that they will bring comfort to you and the family as well.

On behalf of Dona’ and I we extend our deepest sympathy. Please let us know if we can help you in any way. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and the family at this time.

Love and Prayers

Condolence: Words can't begin to express my feelings of loss. I have known you for fifty years. I remember the day we met on Vassar and LittlefieId Street. Going to Henry Ford, roller skating at Northland and just hanging around. I will always remember your sense of humor. RIP my friend. Love Alona
