Condolence: Ms. Terethia, I was indeed shocked to hear of Mr. Rudy’s passing. For the short time we were neighbors, he was always kind and ready to share wholesome advice. As difficult as it is for you right now, Mr. Rudy’s life was not in vain. The love he had for you and his entire family was evident in his expressions of joy. I pray God’s grace and mercy continues to strengthen you all during this time of transition, and the memories of love, life, and happiness will comfort you. Although he is absent from the body, this is simply goodnight instead of goodbye, because a great morning is coming when we who are in Christ will be caught up to meet with Him in the air. My condolences to you and your family. God bless and keep you all! Renee

Condolence: Rudy and I met four short years ago. When I first met him, it was not difficult to see that he was a generous man, with a deep spiritual quest for life. Like new friends getting to know each other, we would share some of our life’s experiences, perspectives, hopes and dreams. What I quickly learned about Rudy, and admired about him, was his unique perceptive. Rudy understood people which made him popular in his social circles. He was fluid and easygoing and a selfless man having friends from all walks of life, all personalities, religions, and ethnic origins. He posed an empathetic emotional side and was compassionate for people and would present sympathetic viewpoints when asked by his friends and family. Rudy was highly intuitive and was easily able to sense what others were thinking or feeling and often called upon by friends, family, and co-workers to lead them through crucial situations. This was a kind-hearted, considerate man who possesses a powerful, yet restrained disposition. It was difficult at times to dig down to what he was really thinking or feeling but he did not betray his own confidences lightly.

I will miss our short conversations at the gate house but remain thankful that our paths crossed and hopeful that I will see you on the other side. Journey well my friend.

Condolence: Rest in Heaven, Rudy, younger brother of dear Dorothy. I never had brothers at all in my family, so you were the closest thing I ever had to a brother over the years. Being the best of friends with your sister for over sixty years made me feel close to you, too. I will always remember the old days when you were young, and the more recent days when, having grown into a good man, you spoke to me out of wisdom and caring. I will miss you so much, Rudy, and I will remember you with love. I am grateful that you were in a good, strong relationship with God for these many years. I send my deepest heartfelt condolences to your wife and family.

Condolence: To family and friends my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Losing a loved one in death is very painful and Almighty God Jehovah
(Psalms 83:18, God's name) promises that he will resurrect millions of people who have died. "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous." Read John 5:28,29 and Acts 24:15. Learn more about Jesus Christ and how he will make God's wonderful promises come true at jw.org. May the God of comfort and tender mercies sustain you during this most difficult time.
