Condolence From: Dr Gilbert Herman
Condolence: Casandra was near and dear to me and all that worked with her at Botsford. She always had a smile, always was respectful to all she worked with, always adapted to all the changes in the hospital prior to and after the merger. She showed up on time every day whether she felt good or not. She cared deeply about her job and all the patients that she was entrusted to care for. Casandra was a very private person but we had times together when she opened up and shared her personal thoughts. I am deeply saddened that she did not have many years of retirement where she could enjoy her family and life after Botsford. I was the chairman of Pathology for 20 years and Casandra was always there ... so this is a very sad day for me. I send my sympathy to the family. I know Casandra wanted her passing to be private but I feel compelled to write about how wonderful a person she was.
