(John 11:25) โ€œI am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life". Condolence: To the DeGrate Family, Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We will truly miss his smile and greetings as we passed each other during our comings and goings on the block. Mike will truly miss the conversations with him regarding the Detroit Lions looking for that glimmer of hope of them going to the Super Bowl.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Condolence From: White Family
Condolence: Dear DeGrate family, โ€œIf a man dies, can he live again?โ€ asked the man Job long ago. (Job 14:14) Perhaps you, too, have wondered about this. How would you feel if you knew that a reunion with your loved ones was possible right here on earth under the best of conditions? Well, the Bible makes the promise: โ€œYour dead ones will liveโ€ฆThey will rise up.โ€ And the Bible also says: โ€œThe righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.โ€ (Isaiah 26:19; Psalm 37:29) May you find hope and comfort in knowing that soon our merciful God will bring your loved ones back. May your warm memories of Samuel keep you until the day when you are reunited. (John 5:28, 29)

Condolence: I met Sam in the Fall of 1969 at Northwood University. When we graduated in 1973, Sam was the same down-to-earth guy as 4 years earlier. I went home one weekend with him and met his parents. I went to church with them. We stayed in contact over the years. We talked football, family, politics, and religion. I will miss him greatly.
