Condolence: My sincere heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of my longtime dear friend and cherished pharmacist colleague Curtiss Whitaker. I have known Curtiss since our early days as pharmacists and as members of SNPhA and NPhA. I feel blessed and privileged to have known him and have his support in prayer for me and my family throughout challenges and celebrations that we all experience throughout our life journey. I especially know he treasured his 2 children and loved them dearly. Will continue to keep everyone touched by this wonderful man and servant of God lifted in prayer during this difficult time. Rest In Peace Curtiss!

Condolence: Who Knew after becoming friends and graduating from Northwestern High School in 1977 we would go our separate ways, only to reconnect almost 10 years later in 1986 at Wayne State University, College of Pharmacy both pursuing our dreams of becoming a Pharmacist. Who knew that we would both receive scholarships as pharmacy students from the Detroit Pharmacist Guild, then turn around and become members of the DPG and providing scholarships to many students that followed our paths as Pharmacist. Who knew that we would marry around the same time, have children around the time and attend birthday parties together during their early years. Who knew that in another 10 years I would move away and lose contact for 10. Who knew when I reached out to you in early June 2017 that another 10 years would have passed by so quickly but we picked up where we left off, talking about old friends from High School and fellow pharmacists and the need to reconnect, and to find a way to give out scholarships to rising African-American pharmacy students. Who knew when we talked of helping get people together for our 40th High School reunion and met together on June 14, 2017 with a few classmates it would be the last time I would see my dear friend with a big smile welcoming all who ventured to get to know you. Who knew that would be our final farewell. God knew! He knew you were tired and ready for rest. I know that God has welcomed you home and said well done Curtis Whitaker by good and faithful servant well done. You will be missed my friend! With deepest sympathy and condolences to the family. Condolence: Is with a heavy heart that I compose this note. My condolences to Curt's children his siblings and his family. Dr. Deacon Curtis Whitaker was a dear friend of mine that I love dearly. He is to me a brother in Christ and a friend throughout eternity. I am glad that he is resting in the place with God forever. We shared good time together as well as bad times together. I found him to be a man of principle and a man of standard. Helpful to All In Need. Even now I find it hard to hold back the tears of the lost that I feel. But I am glad that I was able to walk through our short journey of life with him. He brought people together helped people in need, and he was there in the hard times and even the celebrations. Curtis showed no fear, but walked in the light of the Lord Christ Jesus. When he prayed results Followed quickly. I miss my brother in Christ even now. Please accept my heartfelt loss for this man of God and consider that we should model Our Lives after his example.
Jehovah God knows best for all of us who trust in Him.
I now pray that the Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ comfort all those who grieve the loss of our dear brother.
Sincerely submitted
Dr Morris E Gales III and Saba

Condolence: I'm so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort from your memories, as well as the comfort found in God’s word the bible. In the face of such tragedy, many wonder why God allows such suffering. In the bible, Romans 5:12 says, "That is why, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." How loving of God to promise what is found at Revelation 21:4 which says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
